The Watches CRK People Wear...

OK, I just received my first CRK, a small Sebenza micarta -- and until I snap a photo of the knife, all I have to post is photos of my watches. Here are the two that get the most wrist time lately:

My Gold and silver purchases came in. Posing with my Wilson Combat Umnumzaan and Citizen Eco Drive. The leftover is probably going to a new watch. Or.... A large Insingo and a lesser watch

I've been on a micro-brand kick lately. My CRK isn't in this pic, but here's an example of a recent addition.

What watch is that? It looks alot like the WUS forum logo, so I'm guessing a forum special order?

Correct you are. It was developed by the Affordable themed forum also called f71 by the link designation. Produced by Bernhardt Watches, it uses the same case and movement as their Binnacle Anchor I and II. Although the case and band were given a very nice brushed finish versus the brushed and polished of the Binnacle Anchors. It turned out very well despite being designed by the votes of about 150 enthusiasts.

Limited to 200 pieces.

Looks great. What movement?

Love the Fifty Fathoms 5015, when my ship comes back in that's the watch for me. Beautiful.

It's the Miyota 8215, not my first choice, but at the project price point it was the only option.

Nothing wrong with the 8215. A while ago I owned a Benarus with the 8215, very accurate and reliable.

I really do like your f71 forum watch, very classic and not at all overstated. Applied markers and engraved dial are really nice touches, so many micros have cheap-looking flat dials with painted markers.

Thank you. It took me a while to get around to it, and now between the Pelagos and the FF, my other watches get almost no wrist time. Gonna have to have a big sell-off, I think. No sense keeping them around if they're just gonna collect dust.

The 45 mm case sounds daunting to a lot of people, but it really wears about the same as a Seiko Sumo.

It looks good on your wrist, I think it is the perfect size on you. I wear a TT Yachtmaster now that's 40mm, I doubt for me I would go any larger as I don't have a big wrist. I had a blue sub prior to this watch and a Bretiling Chronomat at some point between the two (also TT) but I think my next watch ... whenever that day comes, will be straight stainless.
