The "Whatever" Thread

I knew you had a few Busse knives back in the day - was the Steel Heart a solid-pin model?

Good morning, cutlery lovers!
JK Knives JK Knives - I had a full day yesterday as well - worked from 6am (slept in a bit) until I had had enough, and then Maggie and I drove the 2 miles over to the home depot to wait for a "facebook marketplace" person to meet us. She ask the person what time and they said 4pm - so there we sit in the parking lot like fools. I waited until 10 minutes past 4 and then I drove away.
We hit an atm to have some gubmint lettuce for later activities, and then I drove back past the depot - still no "dude in a black colorado" -
Maggie is selling off things that we have in our detached garage that I lugged down here in the move.
I am going to get her on my ebay account - at least there you don't have to go sit and wait in a hot parking lot for some jamoke.

Later yesterday we drove down to Huntsville AL to a "top golf" place - like a modernized golf driving range - that was a lot of fun. We went with our new neighbors down here - they all treat us like family - very good people.

It was a late night for us - it's a 45 min drive to Huntsville, and we started at 7:15pm so it was after my bedtime - but then I needed to watch the Blackhawks game I recorded.

No wonder I slept in!! Go Hawks!!

Today I am going to jump on fat ninja and head over to the new Tim's Ford Motorcycle Repair just a couple miles from my house (everything is a couple miles from my house down here...) and check on the progress on my Dyna. Allan, the owner, called me on Thursday and told me he had all the parts and the bike should be done late today or worst case next Tuesday. Can't wait to get that puppy back.

Another glorious day in Illinois. Looting 25 miles away in Chicago, and a tornado just missed us about a half hour ago. Lots of branches to clean up tomorrow.

Got some sad news today. The old Hilltop Drive In in Joliet was destroyed in yesterday’s storm. It’s been closed for at least 20 years, but I used to spend a lot of Friday nights there back in the 1970’s. It was a brick and concrete screen, so you know the winds were strong.

More 2020 crazy!!

Glad you didn't have any damage.

We have a double-screen drive in down here and it is very popular with the locals - we might try it some day.
