The "Who is going to Blade this year" thread

Looking forward to it. I will be at 14R and will even have a few knives. Stop by and say hello.

Do people usually sell belt grinders and other tools at the show? It may be wise for me to abandon my quest for the craftsman 2x42 and keep saving for a nice mid-grade grinder.

I'll be there..... no table for me, though..... networking baby!

I started taking down names and table #'s already.... see you there... I'll be the really good looking dude with the compass on his watch.

Plenty of grinders and other tools to be had at the show.

Bur-King, Bader, Riverside Machine had grinders there last year might be missing someothers.

Take care

You're welcome to cover my table for me while I see the sights anytime you need a break.

I'll be there walking the rows.

Its real hard to be alone at the blade show when you are a knife maker and there are probably at least 1000 other knife makers there also.

As it is the biggest knife show in the world, Blade has the largest concentration of knifemaking supplies to be found anywhere. Many makers go primarily to shop for their next years batch of things that are best bought in person like expensive handle materials. I know that Mr. Hanson goes elephant hunting on Thursday every year and I shall be squatting on the floor in the back of the ABS section rooting through plastic shirt boxes of stag once again.:D

Joe, I be huntin them extinct hairy elephant tusk parts :)

But yes, Blade is the best place to get custom knives and the stuff to make them...

Ah, yes.....more stuff for your super secret Dr. Evil style bunker that is hidden under your 100 lb LG.;)

Thanks for the information guys! I'll just keep designing until the show and then hopefully find some good deals on a midrange belt grinder, polish wheel, etc. Looking forward to seeing all of your knives!
