This is the smallest of a large collection that I will bring to you.

1)Cholla cactus is a jewel. OAL 9.50 ATS 34 that will RC 58-60. Blade is 4.75x.168 and is cryogrnic quench.The guard is nickel silver,cap is stag crown
sheath is of 8oz leather. $235.00 includes S&H======SOLD!!!!!

2)The scagel influence is on this work of art.OAL 11.50. Blade is 6.50x.168
with leather spacers and stag crown. Sheath is of 8oz leather $235.00 includes S&H

3)Devin Thomas damascus pattern basket weave. OAL 9.00in Blade is 4.50x.168. Guarde is nickel silver,handle is India sambar stag.Sheath is of 8oz leather. $485.00 includes S&H

4)Best hunter I make.OAL9.50in Blade 4.75x.168, ATS 34,RC 58-60.The
guard is nickel silver.Handle is the best Ironwood.Sheath is 8oz leather

Don, I sent you an e-mail with a link to the correct Forum. All your doing here is aggravating members that are being pushed off the page by your refusing to go to the Knifemakers area.

Geesh, I don't know Don, nor do I own any of his knives, but some of you guys are like a bunch of old women. What is he hurting by posting his knves for sale here? He is selling knives, and he is an individual. Where's the beef?

There is a special forum specifically for makers to post and sell the knives they made. You young Whippersnappers just don't get it. ;) :p
 
I don't understand what all your problems are.I called Blade forum. Spoke to Diane(annieoakley) and kevin(spark) and he said I am fine and doing what I am suppost to do. Maybe yall should call and get your stuff straight.I'm sick to death of all this petty stuff.I am positive that I can put this stuff here FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!! they told me them selves OK got it OK OK OK
 
As a fairly new BF subscriber but no longer a newbie.... I have two observations on this thread.
First is, this forum: For Sale: Custom Knives (Individual) is where I would look to find interesting Custom Made knives such as Don's for sale is it not? I thought the other one being discussed in this thread is for Knife Makers to talk about MAKING knives?

Second observation, Perhaps Don's "online" etiquette is not quite on par with the majority of the posters here nor may it ever be. But I say this is not English honors class folks. It's about the knife not the grammer. Hell I spend way to much time writing "polished" letters at work. I come here to have fun!

It's just knives Ladies and Gentlemen.

Welcome to the forums.

If you'll notice the length of time Win and Danbo have been members (as well as the tenure of the others who have posted here) I think you'll see that the seasoned members are trying to guide you in the right direction by suggesting you post in the Knifemaker's For Sale forum. If you continue to buck the system, you're just going to irritate people further for no reason.

This is a fairly amicable group if you give them half a chance, so if you find yourself crossing swords with potential customers right off the bat it might be prudent to ask yourself why. What possible motive could they have for telling you you're in the wrong place, if that's not the case?

It would be very much worth your while to call Kevin back and discuss this with him again, so that you can straighten out what has become an unfortunate and unnecesarily awkward debut here.

Nope, you're just plain wrong there Hoss. The knifemakers have a specific forum for SELLING their knives - it's even broken down as between fixed blades and folders. This is the simple message that many have been trying to send (one apparently with a helpful link, and everything).

Don - I really like that little ironwood hunter. Good luck with the sales. Now that you have the whole posting photos thing figured out, go post 'em up where they belong.

Listen to those who know and you will sell more knives.There are a few guys here who along with the mods who keep this place running smoothly,Danbo is one of them.It just makes things easier.Love your knives by the way. :)

I know of at least two members who post their knives here and there. Who Cares? I'm embarassed by the rudeness of some of you. He said he spoke with Kevin and that it's okay by him, yet that's not enough obviously he must have misunderstood him. Don, good luck with your knives here. People who are apt to get their feathers ruffled usually do. I don't care about your online grammar or where you post.

.............And if no moderator has said anything then what is the problem?

Ok lets try this again.....

A internet forum is like drawers on your dresser in your bedroom. You have a drawer each for shirts, pants, socks and in your case Depends undergarments. :D When you post as a KNIFEMAKER in a CUSTOMS FOR SALE BY INDIVIDUAL Its like putting your Depends in the Shirt Drawer. Or putting your shirts in the pants drawer. This annoys the hell out of people because If everyone did this you would end up with a gigantic pile of laundry and when you beshat yourself you would not be able to find clean undies.... :D :D And If other makers post in that forum you should also.

SO PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS RIGHT AND HOLY POST YOUR CUSTOM KNIVES THAT YOU MADE IN THE KNIFEMAKER FORUMS. They were created for fine artists like yourself and that is a good thing.

anyway..nice looking blades...best to ya..

Glad you all like my baldes.I did call kevin back,my computer won't let my post in knifemaker...He said that they are changing stuff around and I am doing just fine.plat. members can do just what I am doing and all will be notified at sometime when all changes are made. Just no more multi thread(which by the way I did learn that the hard way,you can't delete)
So that I know now and will NEVER do agian.I don,t want to make ANYONE mad or mix words.But from day one I have been called stupid,having a 4th grade education. young wipersnapper,etc.How much would you take befor saying something??? And after talking to Kevin even.I'm realy a sweet person,wanting to sell and talk knives that is all,well and make a few good friends.I will post on knife maker when it (bf) lets me ok.sware.untill then can you just enjoy my work and make nice.Or I will put you in the time out corner.(just kidding)

Thanks for that update, Don, and for a very cooperative attitude. Your intentions were obviously honorable from the beginning, as you could have posted in this forum with just a Gold membership, but you opted for the Platinum no doubt on recommendation from the powers that be. For whatever reason, it seems that was where things took a turn into the twilight zone and you've been suffering the consequences.

At any rate, again, welcome aboard and best wishes for your early success.
