Okay...so my Spyderco dragonfly 2 came today and...wow. I just love it. The quality actually exceeded my expectations. It's only my second spydie, and the other one is a temp 2 so...very different.

The wife, being amazing, said...sure. Order another knife.

So, being that I love this dragonfly so much...what would everyone recommend?

Price range probably around 100 bucks. Was thinking another d-fly? Or a great eastern cutlery sod buster? AH! Too many options! But let's keep it at sub 100 dollar small folders. What do I NEED to have? ;)

sage 1 is a good knife and fairly small. if you really want something with a lock back but a slightly bigger knife (still under 3 inches though) a delica is a great piece, also if you want something really long but farlly slim an endura is a good option. i think all of these are under 100$

A hundred bucks, eh?

Benchmade 530
Benchmade 555 Mini Grip
Benchmade HK Mini Axis 14716

See if those fit your style.

Great suggestions so far! Thanks for feeding the flames everyone ;)

Pardon the ignorance but...I hear SO much about the pm2. What is it that people love so much about it?

Wife had to grant you "permission" ? Haha ok.

Check out the Spyderco Manix2 and Yojimbo2. Both hover around $100. Both are awesome knives.

Haha, oh man... you had to say the "p" word! I guess when your bank accounts are merged everything has to be a discussion...

Yeah, I dig the unique look of the yojimbo...I'll look a little further. Thanks!

If you live in VT as your name suggests, the Powderhorn Outdoor Sports Center in Burlington has got a decent stock of Benchmade, Spyderco, and ZT, not to mention a few other brands. I find it's infinitely easier to spend my money when I can handle the goods in person.

Absolutely! I do love that place, and many of my knives are from there. I was on the fence about my temperance 2 until I went in there and handled it. Then I bought it on the spot and it's quickly become a favorite of mine!

Well said...maybe the powderhorn deserves a little visit after work tomorrow!

Great steel, great locking mechanism, super light, looks friggin awesome, sells itself pretty much

I love my Yojimbo 2, very different and just so solid in hand, razor sharp with it's thin hollow grind.
