My 7th book, "The World of Art Knives"
is finished and is in the stage where I deal with many little
finishing touches. I also have yet to get the pictures of two
knives and to fit them into the spaces left open for them.
They are two of many that were made specially to be displayed
for the first time in this book....

Then it is going over everything word by word over a period
of several weeks, printing a digital proof sample and going over
everything once again....

By mid December 2009 the book will be at the printers....

Even if I say so myself, this will be the most amazing book on
modern custom knives I did so far from every imaginable aspect.
A stand-alone 272 page book with many new visually exciting ideas
never before displayed in any of my other books.

Here is the front cover.

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

So many of us just can't wait - I know mine will be dog-eared within a few weeks. I will need to buy more than one! Congratulations, David!

That cover knife looks familiar - and spectacular.

Roger

Hello Roger and everyone!
My son Nir and I decided on a different approach in displaying
the cover knife. Wolfgang's "Wings" was therefore the obvious choice...

The "feel" of the printed cover will be something too...

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Congratulations David on yet an other great book I'm sure. Only 7+ months to go.

Bob, I have two complete set of books. One set is signed and in their respective dust covers and one set is full of fingerprints and so on:thumbup::D

Marcel

gone is the basic black, say hello to vibrant colour!
I CAN'T WAIT!:D

In addition to David's books being very enjoyable browsing, I find myself using them as reference books VERY often.

Really looking forward to this one even more than the others.

Marcel

Marcel, that was my plan in the beginning, however now I have found myself keeping only my signed copies and giving the others away. These books do have a tendency to create knife collectors.

.......Really looking forward to this one even more than the others.......

Did I mention the fact somewhere that Kevin has an 8 page section
in the book - about Jerry Fisk M.S.?

Well it is a beautiful and exciting contribution of his!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

I'm really looking forward to seeing all of Kevin's Fisks, all at once. Really looking forward to the book's release, though it will obviously be a wait until sometime next year.

As always, save me a copy, David. I'll make arrangements with you to pick it up.

Bob,

If all goes well, the books shipped to the USA will be available
from March 2010....

Time will fly, especially such a short time.... :)

All the best,

Hello Ed,

If you come up to Jerusalem I'll have a copy waiting for you....

All the best,

David,
Will you be at Blade with them at the 2010 show? If so, I hope to see you then and get a copy.

Yes Peter, I shall be with Tim Hancock who will also be my official
USA address to get copies of this new book in WHOLESALE quantities
as well as for single copies.

All the best,

I for one can hardly wait to see this one. Nice cover but the inside has to be terrific.

Well, Bruce, here are two pages from an amazing 8-page section
that has "some" connection to you... :)

All the best,
