Today I received the first copies of my new book, the 12th book
on the World of Contemporary Knife Art...

It is "The World of Art Knives" Vol. IV

Preordering has begun from NORDICKNIVES.com

It is a very limited Deluxe edition with only about 400 copies for sale!

NORDIC KNIVES will begin shipping orders towards the End of APRIL 2016....

I seriously think that it is one of my best books ever!!

It really is, David. The photographs are beautiful and you cover perhaps the widest range of the art form yet!

typical of his truly amazing work. Some taking 7-9 months to complete!!

This latest book is chock-a-block filled with compelling artistry and even more interesting people.

I have only spent 20 mins browsing through it with my wife, and we both agreed: It's stunning!

David deserves MUCH more than my 20 minute critique, and I'll give it to him soon.

However, I'll allow his format and storytelling--through selections words and images--have grown in proportion to the craft he's showing. Monumental.

Yes, I have been a strong contributor along with others, but my work will NEVER reach the scale of display he commands.

Thank you Jim for your first impressions!

I am deeply aware of the fact that these come from someone who
has created an amazing visual standard in knife photography so I
appreciate this even more!

I am also aware of the fact that without the amazing images you,
Francesco and Eric sent to me, before "the ink dried" on my request
emails, I could never have created any of my books, especially as I
was granted the permission to do what I wanted with them,
which in itself is something too!!!!

I got my copy today. It's nice to see a few friends in there. I haven't had a chance to look at it, and of course it will take a few months to digest everything but I am really pleased with my four pages. Thanks Dr. Dave
 
To be up to date with what excites makers and collectors I created a large section
on DRESS-TACTICAL Folders displaying the personal stories and
Dress Tactical folders of 11 Knifemakers with mouth watering Knife-Art...

Our STEVEN GARSSON wrote the introduction for this section!

Thank you all my friends!

I hope that when going through this book it will be obvious to you
that this is a labor of true love, created for myself and for those lucky
enough to get hold of a copy and hopefully for future generations to see
with awe what this art was all about.

Enjoying every minute of the interaction with world-class knife makers
and knife-related artists keeps me alive and very happy to be so!

After 12 large volumes it is becoming a little difficult to be original, but
I think that I have a good idea for at least one more book....

There are moments I still cannot believe that I am doing all this
while sitting at home with a phone, a powerful MacPro computer
and tons of pure excitement!!
