The Worlds Most Dangerous Trail

Look at 2:33 and following. In the dude's shadow, doesn't it look like he's holding the camera?

Yes it does , that guy is either light as a feather and very dextrous or just plain 'ol insane :D

Still , I'd buy him a beer for general purposes.

I read somewhere that the government is thinking of restoring it and making it safe enough to be a tourist attraction. Of course, the cost would be staggering.

DancesWithKnives

$7million...not too bad considering they would be able to open it up, charge admission and then...do don's favorite: charge for SAR when you fall :D

Looked like a helmet cam, so his hands were probably free. Sketchy, but not really that insane.
No, there are a couple spots in the first half of the video where you can see the guys shadow. There is nothing on his head, and he appears to be holding something in front of his chest. Also, when he passes people the viewpoint appears to be at chest height. Looks like he is hand-holding the camera to me.

Obviously plenty of people do it.
Plenty of people do incredibly stupid things every day. That does not make them any less stupid.

Even if that trail was brand new, with proper guard rails, a sound deck, and a support structure that looked like it would acutally support it, it would be a scary, scary hike. I'm not particuarly acrophobic but just watching that video gives me the creeps!
