Let me clean the drool from my keyboard... I am still trying to get up some cash for so many other things and now this... So many knives, so little dinero. I really dig the karda and chakma. Fantastic design and execution, I am sure the pic does no justice.
 
Yvsa, That is one beautiful design!! I love the deep fullering, broad belly, there is too much I like about it to get it all in! AWESOME!!!!!!!! Uncle Bill, if I were to put myself on the list, how long before they would arrive? Would I have to pay up front, or when it was delivered? I find this Khukuri
seems to really speak out to me. I have wanted to get one of your fine blades and have waited till I got back on my feet (post op and all) I will return to work on Monday and will be financially back on track sometime thereafter. I was figuring that if it took till the begining of the year for the orders to arrive and need to be paid for, maybe I can put myself on the list for one. Please let me know. Thanks up front.

Uncle Bill posted the pic of the model on 8-16-00, but I don't know when the model made it to Nepal.
And then Dasien came along, so I think very good time was made on this the very first YCS.
