The ZT0770 has withstood the course of time and is still an EDC stalwart...

Why all the hate? Lol the 0770 is a great edc knife IMO. I’ve learned that replacing the word “best” with “favorite” will reduce the arguments by a large amount. What is best for some might be the worst for someone else. Some like slipjoints, others like Espada XLs. Some like speedsafe, some washers etc… but yeah the 0770 makes a good edc knife, and was one of my “favorites” and most carried for a long time when I first got it.
*BTW when I got mine they were like $140-160 instead of $200 and came with Elmax instead of S35VN.
 
Hate…? Can you be more specific ? I’m asking because I didn’t see anybody hating anything in this thread.

They did offer their opinion, that the ZT is certainly NOT the best production knife in the world.

They don't have to 'prove you wrong' to have their own, contradictory, opinion.

Eh, the 770 is OK, but the Bareknuckle is better. It's even better in CF and M390. Especially better than the 0707, and cheaper.

Now the 0801ti...THAT is an amazing ZT!

Well, I went ahead and purchased the 770, and I love it. I don't have a Kershaw Bareknuckle.

I have a 770cf, and an aluminum 770. They're good knives, but I like the Bareknuckle better because it's not assisted, and has a longer blade (and handle, as a result) so it's more comfortable for me to use.
