OK, really I got a utx-70 and I love it!

stonewash serrated- serious lock up, no blade play and all MT haters shouldnt be reading in here anyway!

I cant be lieve I waited this long to purchase one!

I'll join you Ron in the "just got a UTX-70 club".
I waited for something special to come out and am glad I did. I am very impressed with this little guy. Very solid and strong snap for a small light weight knife. Should be perfect around the sheeple. Even my wife liked it. I better hide it now or she will 'borrow' permanently.
Here is a pic stolen from Thebrightedge.

That says it all!!!!!!!!!! ;)

I love mine (Green Micarta/Stonewashed/Plain) and it's rock solid: no blade play, fires like a rocket, couldn't be any better, IMHO.......

Hawaiian tells the whole story in one sentence....... I've been tryin' ta get my wife to like ANYTHING knife related for the last 20+ years we've been 'hangin' around together' and finally something comes along that made her smile! :D

PS- She didn't even ask how much it cost!!!!!!! Maybe things are turning around.... :p

Just ordered a red-black (serrated) UTX-70 from The Distinctive Edge and since I have no wife, it should be a guilt-free experience.....

the utx 70 is a great otf!!!-I was intrigued when I first saw the proto and kept bugging Bob at the Bright edge until they came out with a production :D -I can see myself owning a few of these-next maybe CF top-also a double edge would be nice and maybe even a Tanto blade!! ;) -Tony

The UTX70 sure is a milestone knife..

A new standard in technology.

Sort of the `gentleman's pocket knife' updated for the new Millennium!

So many enthusiastic threads & posts on this knife.
Hell, this knife is even bringing couples together! ;)

I LOVE mine and am so happy I bought it - despite the rather high cost. High-tech is expensive...

But what is "TheBrightEdge"???

www.thebrightedge.com perhaps? Looks like they've got rather good prices.

Thank you, Planterz!

Got it and so now have another resource - now all I need is a heap o' money ;)

Lets see, I got a `plain' utx-70; then there's the serrated; then there's the colored handles; then there's damascus blades....

These knives are definitely a break in technology when it comes to their small size. I concur here, Robert at The Bright Edge is the man to call for Microtechs. A great selection and best prices around. It's always a pleasure doing business with him. :)

I am sorry all, I meant to say the bright edge dot com :footinmou

i was so excited i couldnt type correctly...not that I ever do :grumpy:
