<Hear me out please> Your about to loose your house-you have a kid in college or a baby on the way-with car payments and a hefty mortgage to boot. You have a business that is about to go in the tanker-or you have just been fired from your cushy job you have been at for years ... you still cannot find a new job after 9 long arduous months and unemployment is about to run out. The wife (a.k.a the real boss) demands that you need to sell your entire collection, but she tells you, "you can keep just one knife and only one." Your probably selling a lot more then just your knives at this point, but for this scenario, the question remains: What is that one knife that is the essence of you- the one you own that you would keep for life, never part with it and never sell, under any circumstance-regardless of value or rarity-or personal desperation. Your a good person, so you oblige your better half-knowing it is the right thing to do-knowing you are helping your family. You go ahead and sell all your knives on the Bladeforums dot com exchange or scam bay. What is that one knife, under the most dire of circumstances-that you would choose to keep? Not asking for the best all around knife, or the one knife that can serve many roles for utility or survival, chopping etc. I just wanted to know what most people think about their knives, and the reasons why they would pick one over the others. This is open for all Busse kin knives (SY, SwRat and of course the legendary Busse) I was just trying to get everyone to talk about a unique topic that most of us wouldn't even talk about normally-albeit a little role-playing to get you to really envision having to part with your beloved Busse-kin blades-except for one!!!) "There can be only ONE!" Get the posts rolling please and let everyone know what that one blade would be and why. Please try to keep the selections to Busse-kin blades, in light of the thread and location.

Imagine this: The homeless guy you wonder about (how did he get that way, you ask???) carries an NMFBM with a Culti piggybacked and has an SFNO strapped to his ankle. Pry them from my cold dead fingers.
 
if i could only keep one, it would be either my KZ2 or my NMFBM....one of these..

It used to be a no brainer with the NMFBM but now the KZ2 has stolen its spot!!
 
Are you serious?? Are you out of your minD!!?? Listen buddy, you sound like you need to take a serious look at your life and your situation so you can get your priorities straightened out. What good is a wife and kids and a house and anything else you can think of if you don't have your INFI?? Walk away from the house, divorce the wife, have the kids apply for financial aid AND KEEP your entire collection. It's what I would do, OINK OINK-excuse me.

The knife that I would be homeless with would be my SH-E, satin and snake. Not going to sell it, ever.
 
Plenty of makers produce fine small or average sized blades. Busse it the king when it comes to choppers. The biggest and baddest knife of the bunch is the NMFBM. It's a keeper!

She would only see the FFBM or the RMJ Tactical Eagle Talon, so she would think I only kept one.

The rest would be stashed in the woods along with the guns and ammo I "sold".
 
My NMFBM, because of it's size and the fact that it's already a user. If I'm only going to keep one, it sure won't be a safe queen!
 
If I'm at that point I'm in defense mode so I'll be yielding my AK high and large.

Otherwise I'll keep my NMFBM
 
i would keep my mofbm.a big knife can do alot of work a small knife can.but a small knife cant do the same work a big knife can :D
anyway,,everyone knows the mofbm is the best cgfbm there is:rolleyes:..
 
I think my "Mudsnake" Combat Grade Fusion Battle Mistress. Or maybe my BWM LE or NMSFNO. Depends on my mood.

I can't pick and won't every try, I can't even narrow it down to 50 so I'm not going to hurt myself trying to think of only one.
 
I hope I don't get chewed out for this, but my one and only Busse-kin is the Ratweiler! Perfection.
