I shoulda read this thread earlier. I've already sanded "old hickory" twice today with boiled linseed oil. You can use Coppertone and it gives your handle a nice bronze patina.

I knew an old guy who used to have the CLP. It was in a bottle that had a bull head on it. He said he didn't know where he got it but that it burned like hell.
 
Yeah I can testify that she is Neked and that its worth the bucks to upgrade :)
 
Heh heh I do love the female curvature, as said by me before...
I now know why God made man first... Practice, so He could make females look better, and boy did He do a good job! :D
 
b t w, the only way to oil an axe handle is with linseed oil.

soak that axe head a long time in the oil, let it swell, then it's all done, you no longer have to soak it. good for a lifetime :)
