Wow! That is some great looking micarta! I'm not one to give suggestions but would more tan help it look more like maple?

i think i ll be trying more light colors and adding some black yarn or felt strips to get even more the spalted look

This design is one of Butch's best! I have several of his knives and this is definitely a great user. It just feels good in your hand. The polish on the D2 is mirror finish.

It is a great knife. Take my word for it. I have one. Two in fact -but one is a spear point. They feel great in hand. The craftsmanship is great and they are sharp!
I don't like Kydex but Butch's Kydex has won me over. :thumbup:
Just buy it!
