In honor of (nearly) breaking the 5k posts barrier, I am putting up this 4 1/8" D2 corncob jigged canvas micarta-like BackPocket as a way of saying "thank you" for being the folksy yayhooz you are and putting up with my antics. In exchange, the winner will give me something folksy in return...something...anything you think personifies the folksyness of this forum.
This epic Tradeaway is restricted to contributors of this forum with a post count of 500 or more. This means you must have a post count of 500 or more AND have done some other things around this place other than come here for giveaways.
I don't care if you have handmade knives already or if you only have a few production user knives and collect Capodimonte Italian Porceline...if you contribute to this forum and have 500 posts to your name, JUMP ON IN! Fellow knifemakers, retired federal works, and goat herders are welcome.
I'll be using your FIRST POST NUMBER AS YOUR ENTRY. You can post as many times as you want because these things are lots of fun, but it won't help you win mo bettuh. I'll be using some ultra scientifical method of selecting the winner from the post numbers I deem worthy.
Let's end this in 5 days, sometime on Friday, April 8th, 2011. Here's what you are playing for:
The jigging on this is deeper than it looks and kinda resembles a corn cob. It's really grippy stuff and makes the knife very light overall. I think you'll like it, that is...if you get it.
GOOD LUCK
