Thickest blade you own

I have a Josh Buaghlam custom that was made to my specs its a 10in drop point
the blade is 3in wide and .5in thick with a FFG made of CPM3v and handles of black burlap micarta
and GITD green liners and pins

I have a .320" Busse, and more than a few fixed blades that are .250". I really don't like 'em much thicker than .250".

Busse ASH-1 CG.

Got the same one only with MAG handles. .32 thick is alot.

Busse MOASH is about .34 and Busse MOAB is over .40

I have a HI Ganga Ram Special, 22 inch Khukuri, almost 3/4 of an inch at the spine, weighs in at 4 lbs. I'll try and put a mic on it... :D

Not much of a slicer, but sure is fun to chop!

My thickest fixed blade is the Cold Steel Trailmaster (5/16" or .31"), 9.5 ". It is also my favorite knife. The weight, handle, blade design... and yes, you can whittle a small branch if you have to. I have done it many times as well as chop off branches. (photo, right side).

I plan to get a Bark River Bravo II in black micarta (7") to complement the two fixed blades shown below.

Trail Master fan here, too. I take the trail master and a victorinox soldier and I'm set.

Oh yeah, and its also the thickest knife I own. :D

I have lots of blades over 1/2" thick, cause I grind 'em from 5/8" stock!!!

They cut very very well if you give them a thin edge, great for cutting 4" free hanging rope or 2 by 4s... thick doesn't hurt cutting ability if you cut everything in one swipe,

mind you I won't carry them very far!

DANG! I'm getting back to work on my master girth blade, 7/8 stock!

Yep, the Himalayan Imports blades tend to be quite fat. The Bir Ghorka crew likes makin' 'em that way I guess. I don't have any of their real monsters like the huge Ganga Rams et cetera, but my 19" Bonecutter is a healthy 7/16" thick. Chops like a mofo!

Also have an HI AK Bowie on the way that the original owner demonstrated was thicker than a zippo lighter.

Okay, the AK bowie came in... edged out my Bonecutter at 15/32" thick. In spite of this, it still sharpens up nicely:

3 Busses and a CS Trailmaster, all 5/16" or 8mm.

My ER RAO is 6.3mm thick, which is a lot for a folder...

I also own a custom Justin Gingrich Waki, 5/16" of 5160. It's just a massive chopper.

Photo of my real fatties. :D

20" HI AK: 2nd from bottom, over 1/2" thick and over 4 LBS.

My thickest is my Khukuri at 7/16 followed by the knife I made at 1/4
