Hi Im new to folders and Im looking for a combersome uslessly heavy folding knife that will barely fit into a pocket.
Also whats the largest SRM/Bee/Enlan knife there is? I dont want to convert every knife on the exduct website from cm to inches.
I dont want to spend more than $50. But if you know of a super huge folding knife post it no matter the cost, Im curious how big they get.
Thank you:)

You can find a Cold Steel Spartan for around $50. That will be bigger than any Sanrenmu/Bee/Enlan/Navy knife that I know. Sanrenmu 909 and 939 are both pretty big but not even 4" blade. Navy K622 is pretty big and heavy but only a little more than 3.5" blade.

Kershaw Tremor is also pretty heavy with 3.75" blade. Up your price to around $60 and Cold Steel Recon1 is also a good knife. Boker Mini Resurrection 2 can also be had in the $60+ range.

And the good old Spyderco Resilience.

While it's not what I'd consider thick and heavy, I have a Benchmade LFK with a 5.2" blade that's pretty cool. I just don't trust it to heavy use...

The Spyderco Resilience is kind of a big one, compared to the Military you can definately feel it's weight when you spyder drop it.

For $50 your only option is the Cold Steel Spartan. The Spyderco Resilience is not heavy duty. ZT knives are big (wide) and thick but not much stronger than a liner lock knife.
If you want the biggest and the strongest then check out the huge cold steel folders with the TriAd lock.

THIS is the enlan el-01 AWSOME knife: get 2 (with shipping) for $40

I've got a ZT0200, but I carry this more - the 0200 is too big.

I don't know any for $50, but it looks like several do.

The big ones I know about are the Grayman Satu, and a Horton folder. The Lionsteel SR-1 is failry big too, but smaller than the others.

At Blade I saw a folder that started off as a Busse SARsquatch that was ground down and shaped to fit some massive Benchmade frame (I forget which one).

for $50 bucks you might want to check out an izula. it's thicker and stronger than a folder but still compact enough to keep in your pocket. esee has a great warranty if you do manage to break it.
