I don't know if you would technically call it a Bowie, but Mora makes a decent sized clip point knife that is light and thin.

4" blade. Cold Steel. Light enough to wear around your neck. Cheap enough to make it disposable.

+1 On the CS Spike. Was the first knife that came to my mind when I read the OP's description.
Lovely, serious EDC blade

Or ... I can make you one in Ti:

Love the knife.
CM what's to expect in Ti ease of sharpening and edge retention?

Sharpening is easy. Edge retention sucks... that's why I carbidize the edge.

Bark River Makes one, not sure if it is a true Bowie. And the name escapes me right now

Designed by Walter Brend and made in the U.S.A. by Pro-Tech.

I love how there's no clear definition of a bowie in this thread at all.

Just wondering, by Bowie....do you mean:

A big self defense styled knife?
A knife with a clippoint? Regardless of size?

Because Bowies in general.....not really EDC size for most people.

By thin bladed...how thin are we talking exactly?1/8' ? 3/32"?

Also, just wondering....why not custom? Many options available right now and if you have more patience a maker will make you something special.

In fixed blades I honestly see no reason to go with factory knives. Most fixed blades are pretty affordable (when handmade) and there's a low failure rate because they're less complex. Plus I've found that in a halfdecent maker the performance of the knife will be better in custom knives vs factory knives. (All other things like materials being equal that is).

The Blackjack knives by BRKT are pretty great if any of their styles appeal to you, also BRKT proper makes tons on small-large easily carried fixed blades, some of which could be labeled "Bowies" but as others have said the term Bowie is broad to the point of meaningless these days. Of course if you have a clear definition of what you want I'd recommend contacting a maker here.
