Good morning, Snarkelonies.

Bumming around a bit early this AM. Going to get around to find a spot for some breakfast, then drive to a nearby city. The Mrs. found a way to rope me into the botanical gardens. Apparently, they have LEGO sculptures there now.

I'll be brining my Boboa Fett minifig keychain just to see how many people shake their head at me.

I also found a nearby brewery. Gonna hit that one hard.

More and more im loving this dog.

That's cool

Our white dog, Maggie (some kinda pit mix mutt... we don't really know, since Angie rescued her basically from the wild... long story) is sweet as the peaches that come in a can, but she's a freaking awesome hunter. In the last year she has killed squirrels, rats, mice and possums in our (her) yard.

Funny thing is, she eats the squirrels fur and all, but just leaves the rats and possums dead where I can find 'em. Apparently they taste bad. My female cat is the same way kinda... she loves to kill mice and snakes but won't eat 'em.

The only problem a dog has with eating mice is it gives him/her "dead mouse breath".

Maggie also sometimes eats cat turds out of the litter box. I don't think she's terribly concerned about her fresh breath :D

If you end up doing James... We all need to see it LOL

I need to send Warrior a suitable pic to mess with. It's gonna be scary... mwahahahah!!

Allow me to rephrase that. I wanted to know how much insurance I should get so I added up the value of my guns...

Renter's insurance is super cheap BTW.

Yes, renter's insurance is cheap, BUT you gotta check what they are actually covering. MOST insurance policies only cover standard items. High value items like jewelry, guns, art work, "collections", etc., require specialty riders, which can be not so cheap. Each category has different listing criteria. Guns usually also require an itemized, by serial number, make and model, list for them to verify you actually own said guns. Ask your agent specifically what is covered and about your guns.

I start a new job today boys. Sometimes can't believe my good luck. Making double what I used to with less work and better hours. Gonna be a good summer...

Doesn't get much better than that.

Did you get a job with the federal government too?

So last night was opening night of the musical I'm working for my highschool, I didn't even get home till 11:00, then I still had home work to do :( luckily we don't have school today

Poor fella.:p Cast or crew?

I did the lights for the shows when I was in h.s.. On the nights we programmed, we wouldn't finish until 2 or 3 in the morning, with school the next day. Only dozed off a few times.:D

11:00PM ? Cry me a river.

When I played rock'n'roll in crappy bars, I was not only main songwriter, lead guitarist and backup singer, but also part of the load-in/load out crew (being the biggest dude in the band means you get to lift/haul the heaviest gear), booking agent, stage manager, in charge of finding a sober driver to/from gigs, beating the money out of club owners, making sure all the pertinent idiots showed up for rehearsal twice a week and the gig on Saturday, dealing with the lead singer's girlfriend's insane demands and sorting out all the various sex and drugs that goes along with being in a band, and tasked with promotion and advertising, but also responsible for making sure the gear was set up right. I can count on zero hands the times I got home before dawn after a show.

The entire time all this madness was going on, I held down a full-time factory job and raised a child.

Boo focking hoo. :D

So my daughter has early release for report cards today, and im VERY proud of her. She got all A's and B's, which is an improvement, before she had 2 C's.... Her reading level also went up which im very happy about as she has a tough time with reading sometimes. Especially when she gets excited or upset. But she went up in reading too... She is still one letter behind where she should be but she is working hard at it and im very proud of her!!

On the way home from picking her up I seen an older man up the block trying to load a futon into his SUV... So i took my daughter inside and walked up the block and helped him load it... Or rather load it for him.... While i was loading the futon he asked me how old i was and i told him 30, he then said "you like Scotch?" And i told him of course, any smart man does... when then start talking about the neighborhood, and how he remembers it being a clean area with great people and i told him i wasnt around here back then but wish it was still like that now and he asked if i was from Philly and i told him no im from Florida....then he just turned around and walked inside without saying a word.... I was like OK, he is old, maybe he doesnt like Floridians LMAO..... SO I closed the SUV all up and started walking back home and then he came back out his door hollering at me... "HEY YOU COME back here"..I was like dayum he must really hate southerners LOL.... i hesitantly walk back up to him and he hands me something in a brown paper bag.... I open it and find a bloody head.....

No just kidding, it was WAY better than that.... He gave me a brand spanking new bottle of Johnny Walker black label. :D

Turning out to be a pretty great Friday.
