Was looking for a black and tan skyline and found it in google search from a few sites which all are the same company. Its a sife called thegunsource, also dpmsrifle.com and a few others.

Whats my chances of gettkng the correct knife from this place?(reviews online scares me about this company)
 
Guys, i posted this in the Kershaw forum hoping the rep can tell me.if that distributor can even get one of these mldels.
 
I'm 98% sure it belongs here in feedback as your asking fedback about a knife company. So I think this spot will yield the most results.
 
Don't know about those two outfits but, in the future I strongly recommend you
check the kershawguy, Dave.

He is great to deal with.

As KC noted, these threads really do belong in the feedback section, for obvious reasons.
The first thing you should do is call them and ask if the items you ordered are in stock. If worse comes to worse, call them and cancel the order. Problem solved, life is good once again.
 
Surprisingly the knife showed up with no issues. But after reading the reviews, i would not order from them again.
 
a number of online sites get their inventory from a few big warehouses. I've ordered from boatersworld & midwesthuntersoutlet a few times, and I believe they use the same suppliers as the site you ordered from. I've always gotten my stuff, and usually for very low prices. The brown Skyline I got was 38.99 + 2.99 shipping (that's probably what you paid as well). There are other very simple sites out there with some crazy low prices if you look hard enough. $22.50 shipped for a brand new Shallot is pretty hard to beat :)
 
I don't really understand this thread... you received the product you ordered with no issues to report and from your own experiences things were just fine. But you wont order from them again? I don't get it, you seem to be ignoring your experience in favor of what may or may not be true experiences of others.

I can understand shying away from places because you find scathing reviews of them but looking after the fact and finding negative information that is contradictory to your own experience and relying on that? Eh... if that's how you choose to run your life, more power to you I guess... but the way you're presenting this it appears to me to be equivalent of you buying a knife from kershaw, having it be absolutely great for your needs, you enjoying the knife... but then reading some negative stuff about it that other people have said and deciding that the knife is now junk and you will no longer carry it.
 
I have ordered some marlin .22 mags from them, and everything went fine . I would take down your post since they did get you your item, and they are not after all shady......
 
Guys, please do a google search on the site/sites and see how many bad reviews they have received. I stated my experience, but that does not take away from other buyers negative experiences.
 
So let the others bad experiences show up in their complaints. Why are you bringing up complaints when you personally don't have anything to complain about. :confused:
