Think I'll just stick with this one for a spell

Primitive Bone looks even better than stag and with interesting variations. Time to get some.
 
I took a few more pictures of mine. The variation in the scales are very interesting. The fine lines which look like cracks are actually the variations in the bone.

Want to thank everyone on this thread because I used my new dogleg all afternoon and it has quickly become one of my favorites. Cut up limes for a drink, some cardboard, and tried it out on some fuzz sticks for my son to build a fire. I knew it was going to be a user and I'm very happy with the performance and how it fits in the hand.
 
After using my dogleg daily it was time to sharpen the blade. Put a nice 40 degree (inclusive) edge down to 600 grit on my Edge Pro. I'm amazed at how sharp this knife is now! Really loving the overall design.
 
fantastic pics tomsch & thanks for the followup. gec 1095 is one of my favorites but one needs to do some work before the edge can reach it's potential.--dennis
