Thinking about getting one………just thinking about it. I’m afraid though, if and when I order one they’ll be gone. What to do… what to do? I have the Deilca 4 G10 I love the looks and the size right up my alley for both reasons. I already know what you guys are going to say.

I liked mine but once I replaced the clip:

I LOVE IT! A most awesome knife. Get one while you still can.

Ken

Pick it up. :)

I loved my Military, but I found it became a little awkward when picking my fingers, so I grabbed a D2 Para. Love the knife. You'll definitely notice that the blade is a bit shorter then the handle. I attribute that the pivot area being more recessed, thus making the knife stronger and a lot more secure, but that's just me.

HA! you don't know what I'm going to say, get one I love mine, oh wait you where expecting me to say that.

I had the same problem. I just bought a Rookie in foliage green, but even before that I was thinking about buying the D2 para. I kept looking at it online but never pulled the trigger. Even though I bought the rookie, I couldn't help but go ahead and grab the D2 before they were gone. Too many people are saying good things about it, so I doubt that you or I will be disappointed!

You guys are baddddd! Thanks for your suggestions, I might be calling Davis today, take care, Jake.

got my d2 foliage green paramilitary today, this thing is beautiful. and it's scary sharp too right out of the box. i accidently fumbled it and it fell tip down on my knee cap, ouch. still bleeding. anyway i guess that means its sharp enough.

also waiting on a foliage green rookie. was shipped one from new graham but they accidently sent me a foliage green j.d. smith. i called them and they fixed it right away and sent out the rookie. the j.d. smith is nice though.

My first Spydie was an S30V Para-military. What a knife. It's everything I want in a folder. Rock solid, scary sharp, cool as hell. I'm pulling the trigger on a D2 version before they're gone.

Thanks Sal

You've just taken your first step into a larger world.

You ain't kidding! I can't get over the look and feel of this thing. If anyone is thinking about buying one of these but is undecided, go for it before they're gone. You won't regret it.

Ah yes, my brother. I remember the day I first took possession of The Para. It was like pulling Excalibur from the stone.

Go forth with confidence and know that The Para, the finest of all of Master Glesser's creations, will serve you well.

Oh I don't know about finest... :) The UKPK and Caly3 are pretty awesome in their own right.

Bottom line: The Para rocks. That Para in D2 rocks in foliage green. Buy both.

Kbuzbee,

How'd you get that UKPK/Caly3 looking clip onto your Para? That adds so much more appeal to a knife I'm kicking myself for resisting.

I think he posted in another thread, but basically:

Dremeled the lower half of the clip off
Cut two grooves in the G-10 on the clip side of the knife
Mounted the wire clip and used the original clip plate to hold it on

Neat mod indeed. :)
