Steve does do these but I did this one. Removed the old clip. Dremeled a couple grooves, inserted a Caly 3 clip and cut the old clip off leaving only the three hole base. Reattached the base with the three screws securing the wire clip into the groves. Only took an hour (or so)
It's not a "pretty" job, but it works for me.

It looks great from this angle. I was thinking about sending mine in to STR to get a lowrider for tip up carry.
got my d2 foliage green paramilitary today, this thing is beautiful. and it's scary sharp too right out of the box. i accidently fumbled it and it fell tip down on my knee cap, ouch. still bleeding. anyway i guess that means its sharp enough.
You're too kind. It really is a rough job. I'm sure you'll be happy with Steve's work. Everything I've seen of his is terrific.
