Thinking outside the box

“It ain’t what you got,… it’s what you ain’t got that’s ailing you.” Granny

Tai, is that your Granny?

Mike

Mike, It's from the "Beverly Hillblillies"... funny show! Granny, said it to Jed. :)
Jed was rich, but he had no girlfriend or wife...

Granny was a medicine woman. You might remember that if you ever watched the show. Every now and then, Granny was quite profound.

... reverse thinking humor...

Granny was a highly enlightened individual, Jed not far behind, Jethro was still learnin...

Backwards thinking can be good :)

"Granny was a highly enlightened individual"

You got that right Don! We could all learn a few things from Granny! :)

“And how do we do that, Mr. Sixth-Grade Graduate?” Granny

“Well, if there's one thing Jethro'd like better than fightin' it, it'd be eatin' it!” Granny

"Everyday's a gamble, I figure if I wake up in the mornin' I'm a winner!" Granny

"Well, I could be happier. What ya got on your mind?" Granny

“Where’s there’s law there’s trouble,… as sure as a goose goes barefoot!” Granny

:D Her stunt double was even more amazing than Granny! Once saw him jump flat footed over the railing of a second story balcony and hit the asphalt running. Made my jaw hit my chest in disbelief!

After I posted the question, I wondered if it were "that Granny"...

So, how does a person think backwards you two?

Mike

Seems like a person is going to have to keep present the thought position to maintain 180 degree-ness to it... or is that contrary to the doing?

Mike

For an example of what happens when one thinks outside of the box, Check out Kim Breed's article on George Lambert's fillet knife.

Thinking outside the box made a comeback before it was obsolete. Maybe it should be put back in the box for a while. :)
