This thread is full of Clowns (with title colours from blue to green). Honestly, You people are not thinking properly.

Busse newbs will see this thread and read the whole thing (people research before they buy expensive things). They will see that: The problem was taken care of promptly and thoroughly by the company which IS THE BEST MARKETING. A thread with a happy ending.

They will also see how Some 'Hogs' Are not very helpful and quite rude and dismiss new members problems, issues, complaints. They will see all the infighting.Which IS BAD FOR THE COMPANY. Regardless of the first posts language, message or what ever.

Sheesh

So far you are the first one to call names, just saying.;)

Busse didn't offer a DCBB NMSFNO IIRC. :D

I'm curious if anyone other than Jerry or Garth can really tell us if this is true or not. I've seen a lot of past releases for sale at shows in different configurations than they were originally offered. It seems reasonable that a DCBB version of an NMSFNO could have been offered for sale at a show since it's original release. Not flaming you GregS, just bringing up a point. ;)

I'm also very curious about how long and under what conditions this knife was stored. Has the OP yet responded as to this info? I would consider the present condition and state as user negligence. It has absolutely nothing to do with Busse or the steel.

Having said that, Amy is on the job. So I'm confident the OP is going to be taken care of. There are a lot of companies who claim to have a great warranty, but I've never seen another company go to the lengths that Busse Combat does to make their customers happy. No questions asked.

Kind of makes you proud to own Busse's....

Quite possible :D:p but I get really heated when People try to lock down threads. This kinda thread is Godd for the company as it shows the company reallly stepping up to the plate!

EDIT: Since I have no horse in this race I'm done posting in this thread.

If it was original and from a show it most likely would have a custom shop logo,
or even the regular logo:thumbup:

Kind of makes me think. Just how cheap would a Busse would be if they didn't spend time fixing knives for negligent owners.

A warranty to cover hard, even near abusive levels of use is one thing. I find this to be blatant lack of proper care after modifying the knife in a way that destroyed the surface protection that Busse gave it from the factory.:grumpy:

I have sent 2 e-mails to tao regarding the NMSFNO.

We will take care of it....PERIOD

It is what we do:thumbup:

What we do not do is name calling and such nonsense as this thread has become...so

I am locking it down.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at amy@bussecombat.com or pm me:)

Thank you,
Amy
