“These are ghost red G10 that I bought 2 years ago. They have a green/blueish shimmer depending how you hold them, very cool”.

I finally got a DEK1 with my initials on it !!! This fine Magnacut DEK1 with swedge, blue hex titanium hardware, and burlap scales arrived on my porch 2 days ago. Much appreciation to Cap’n Smudge for the proxy, and before that, gunslinger387 for the attempt that was extremely close.


Inmo, the burlap scales on this one are exceptionally cool. They’re very streaky and almost resemble ECAM on the smooth surfaces. Thanks for sending such a unique set Jo the Machinist .Last, but certainly not least, thank you NtM, Lorien, and team for the excellent design and execution. I’m gonna beat the pretty right off of this one !

Actually pard, I’ve been workin so much that I haven’t spent much quality time with my new girl. For the next 3 days, I’ll be turning down OT and catching up on “knife love”, while the wifey is out of town. Leather, kydex, and beer will surely be involved….

My Burlap DEK scales are gorgeous too. They rival the ECAM. Can't wait to see my "Signature Series FK3 Field Knife, please apply a satin grind to my FK3, Shiny machined 6-4 (high strength grade 5) Titanium fasteners, vintage micarta." Nothing (except the crappy wood options) looks better than buffed micarta on CPK offerings. I didn't specify buffed but the invoice indicated they would be. CPK has been really great about my orders, adding the buffed options for a newb.

Oooh yummy !!! All DEKs are superb but that DEK3 is absolutely gorgeous ! I don’t usually beg outside of the bs&t but I’m hittin’ you up, Mr. That knife is cream o’ the crop , imho .
