I love bikes... dont care for him though. Even if he didnt cheat I still dont care for him.

I'm with you L4NE4. The guy has been a vindictive douchebag to anyone that even suggested he might have not been clean. Destroyed many people who did not agree to keep silent about his doping.
 
I have met him. Wife used to be a platinum client for AMD we went to several events. Guy was kind of aloof. That being said, he has an amazing story and accomplished amazing things. The only person who could even have come close to beating him Tyler Hamilton also got caught doping. I think its pretty wide spread. I still like Greg Lemond better.
 
Funny you mention bikes, I was riding one then got sideswiped by a skater. It was mostly my fault though so I can't complain.
 
He about this crazy Manti Teo stuff? I have a hunch he was in on the hoax, some of the timelines I heard today were pretty fishy.

he only had one that's why he came half clean in a half ass way. I feel bad for all the other cyclists that could/would have won if he hadn't been doping. Goes to show....doing dope affects everybody in a way and not just the dope user! :D

LOL very observant. About 20 feet. I taught my wife to lock the front axle and use it to drive the truck out of the way of traffic when she blew the drive shaft out of our other truck last year. She used that trick this time also to get to a parking space. :D

We went on a 150 mile round trip on the highway the night before the u joints went, I think they were getting ready to go that long trip at high speeds finished them off.

Honestly, I think that a lot of cyclists at that time used EPO and such. Many of 'em have already been caught. Many of 'em completed the top 3 spots after Armstrong during those years. If pretty much everyone competed with the same substances in their blood, it's still the best athlete who won.
I don't want to defend Lance at all, because there would definitely have been riders that didn't use drugs, I just want to point out those years were especially "dark" in a sense. They should be scrapped from sports history books altogether. You'd have to go way back in the rankings of those years to find the first clean rider.

True. Purportedly the majority of cyclists in that time period were doping in some way. Even distance runners were getting caught blood doping. Whether that's true or not can't be said without hard evidence, but he's either the best of the dopers or it's just too hard to determine if everyone was really doing it and we should just strike those years from the record books (sad for those that were playing fair).
