i need to finish shoveling the snow and then taking it easy till i fix dinner for the wife and myself this evening!! my day off lol!
 
I dont like How Lance handled the accusations of doping when he knew full well that he was doing it. That said, he is an AMAZING athlete, a dedicated trainer, who beat himself half to death to be the best, and then took it one step too far, and resorted to epo's. I agree that the majority of the field that was competitive was using though so it doesnt really diminish what he accomplished, just the quality of person that he is.

Just had a" breakfest with dad"day at my kids school this morning. So I got up took the kids to school and ate breakfest with them. Just got home, changing my clothes and out to the shop for a day of uninterupted knife work. At least till 3:30 when I have to pick up my 8yr. old son and his 2 best buds to come spend the night tonight. That ought to be exciting. To put it nicely. I have a feeling there gonna be wild!
 
As far as Lance Armstrong I agree with Murph. So the guy can ride a bike. Congradulations I mastered that at age 5 then elvolved to a car at 16 with the rest of the world. As far as him doping. Again. Who cares. Has no effect on my life. I have a hard time feeling sorry for anyone who has millions of dollars and used to bang sheryl crow! Everyman has to answer for his actions someday, in this world or the next, what the hell did he expect!

I do support the cause of the Livestrong founation. But I suspect it will do just fine without him.

I slipped on some ice and pulled something in my foot last night. I woke up this morning and couldn't walk without every step feeling like a nail is being driven into the top of my arch. I worked on it for an hour this morning and took the rest of the day off because it hurt so much. Yay for long weekends. I've got a PS3 that's been feeling very neglected lately. Time to get my Resident Evil 6 on.
 
I planned on being "sick" today and sending some lead down range, since it's above freezing. However, we finally got our phone lines installed at work, so I've got to take care of some wiring today. Attics, basements, insulation in my shirt...so much enjoyment.

Very cool Meat. I am leaning towards a Walther PK380 for concealed carry. Hopefully they got all the bugs sorted out cause it is a really comfy gun.

Told ya we'd make a real gun totin' redneck outta ya.

Walther does put out some high quality stuff... I've shot this gun (the P22) in .22lr and it's comfortable as hell. Not a lot of recoil, cheap ammo, accurate. I hope I can get one someday.

Those are some of the weirdest looking bullets I've ever seen. Why does your .22 have a big hole in the muzzle and hang out with centerfire squibs?

They're 9mm P.A. - I don't know if you guys have ever seen those. They are essentially 9mm cartridges without bullets. I can get a CCW license for this gun (it can only shoot these blanks) and there are all kinds of different ammo, for example a "pepper spray" cartridge (for SD) or different colors of sparks that fly up about 40m (for distress signals).

It's for people who live in countries where they can't have real guns.

Nice one! I'm saving for an XD-S right now....but I keep buying knives instead! Plus I just moved to the city which will cut down on any future shooting time. I used to be able to just open my back door and pop off a couple at my "target stump" if I was so inclined. Not anymore :grumpy:

You'll love the XDS. I've been carrying mine since August or September. Are you planning on the 45 or the new 9mm version?
