While most of you good people slept snugly in your beds there was a war going on here. Some will see it as an attack on some innocent maker, some will see it as a search for Truth, Honesty and Repentance.

It’s amazing that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

It wasn’t long after that Spark locked this sucker down. The Blades were banned from BFC and I was banned over there, and yet the fighting continued for hours. Questions and accusations countered by more lies, diversions and name calling. It wasn’t pretty. It ended for me with this post by him on their forum.

As with most wars it proved nothing. There were no winners, we all lost something.
I think there is a lesson to be learned here, but you need to decide what that lesson is for you.

Am I sorry it happened? No, it needed to happen there were too many things that needed to be out in the open. The fact that it got out of hand is a shame, but it could have ended any time they wanted it to. It’s over now as far as I’m concerned. I do accept his apology and I can only hope his desire to change his ways is true. Only time will tell.

As hard as it may be for some to believe, I do wish them well and I hope this new move works out for them and that they can turn their business around.
 
Well, since I dont have a finacial concern here, I was not going to comment further...but I changed my mind as friends of mine have had dealings with Allen. I have been around these forums for a while and I do follow things fairly well. I also pick up on when somebody screws up mutiple times and continue to beg forgiveness or whatever.

Now, I have seen many folks over time who have ordered knives from Allen. To be fair, apparently some people get them around the promised date. However, you cant get by just delivering a few knives to folks and neglecting the rest...business doen not work that way, even for a knifemaker. I cant count how many times I have seen posts like "Help, need to contact Allen Blade" and similarly worded subject lines. Many times those turn out to be people that have ordered (and many time paid for) a knife, then Allen up and seemingly disappears. There are also a few of the big names such as Rob Simonich (I use him as he has made this public and its well known by now) who got Allen some talonite. Apparently Allen said he would pay for it when he made the knives. He has gotten crappy towards Rob when Rob finally posted about this, and again Allen points out that he said he would pay when the knives were done. He neglects to mention though that this was about a year ago, and according to Rob, the verbal understanding was more along the lines of a month. See this thread

There of course was the famous "TooApoint" charecter that posted when he was starting the MEUK knife company. That was a strange time, especially when "TooApoint" was exposed....whoops.

There have been multiple cases of Allen telling folks there knives have been shipped, when indeed they were not even made. To many to be called a paper work error. Of course the nifty Busse knife that a guy had sent to Allen for a new handle. This guy was also told his knife was done, Cori had seen it, it had been shipped. After several months it of course turns out the knife was not even touched....whoops again.

Allen is the maker, however Cori (Allens wife) has said she took over the business end of the company. She now slams anybody who comes a calling looking for there knives and the truth. She early on began with thinly disguised threats of legal action against everybody in sight. Also seems to imply that Allen is being picked on, and people should just give him a chance. He has been given many chances, long before this current batch of "goofs" and long before Cori came along.

As I have said before, lotsa people have really screwed up on this forum. 99% of those people do it once, they beg forgiveness, and then they bust their ass to earn back peoples trust and all is right with the world. To me Allen has been one to have many chances, and for the most part does not do much to earn back the trust....he simply comes on and blames everybody from Maddog (Kevin McClung) to Phil for his problems. Now of course Cori is doing it as well. How many chances should a person receive?

As a side note, I did receive my stag back today in the same condition I sent it. I am very happy to report for once I did get what was promised in a timely manner from these two. You could have knocked me over with a feather.
 
Good news Phil. I kinda thought there might be some holes drilled in that stag. If that stag has bad vibes, then ship it down here and we'll see if some of these locals will use it on a blade for Spirit of Steel. :D :D
 
So will it end here now or will more people continue the saga? I gotta say I'm rather surprised at you PhilL. Twords the last you conducted yourself in a manner befiting an elderly gentleman. By that I mean you tmepered your stupidity and showed some class.
Richard, can you blame him for talking to Rob that way. Everyone kept pecking, pecking, pecking. When you all got what you wanted (well, not all of you) and he began attacking back everyone gasped, "That son of a bitch! Who does he think he is! HE was the one who screwed all of us! HE has no right to be mad and attack us!" Well gentlemen that's just it, when a man has addmitted to his mistakes and is trying to make it right, (and I don't care about the two knives that got confused. That **** was there to fan the flames and thats it.) and no matter what he does he still keeps getting kicked when he's down, PLUS! People telling his whife if they want any lip they will take it off their zipper, YES THE MAN IS GOING TO STRIKE BACK AND TELL YOU ALL TO KISS HIS ASS! Again you could not seem to understand why he was fed up and said the things he did. Now some of you will come back on here and start up all the same **** all over again, but I will ask you WHY? If you didn't get the answeres you felt you needed in the umteen other threads about this matter, why do you think you will get the answers you feel you need now? So let's hope this finaly dies down and we can let Allen an Cori get back to making knives like Spark so eloquently stated and get the knives to people who still want them.

Your hero lied, admitted it and apologized, I accepted his apology, wished them well and was ready to move on, but what happens? You come back in here attacking me for being the messenger and the peace maker.
Maybe if my posts upset you that much you should just ignore them. Or better yet go back to their forum where you won't see any of my posts because I'm banned there. Just think you can bad mouth me as much as you want without a reply from me. In a battle of wits that's the only way you stand a chance, but I'm not going to stoop to your level here.

There is one thing that perhaps you can clear up. There are some people that think you are in reality Allen Blade here under another alias. Now I wouldn't expect you to admit it, but is there anyone here that can say beyond a doubt that you're not?
