This week's score (There's more ;) )

When is the grand opening of the Jack Black Museum of Cutlery & Other Curiosities? (I need to start my planning.:thumbup:)

Hoping group rates will be in the offing! :D

I can't see how this venture could fail to make a fortune. He can do "murder mystery" dinners and it'll be great for renting out space on Halloween and other ghostly occasions.

Surely, Jack will find a way to keep the rates reasonable for his friends. ;)

"It was a dark and stormy night..."

Jack, come to think of it, you can set up fixed ropes for rappelling from the steeple. Don't get rid of all that "climbing tat" just yet. There's more than a tuppence or two to be made here. ;)

I'd take some pics of the others, but I've just scalded my hand with hot soup! :(

I'm sitting here trying to type, with a beer in one hand and a bag of frozen peas in the other! Owww! :D

Excellent! :D

"It was Colonel Pemberton, in the study, with a Sheffield jigged grey bone slipjoint, sporting a hairline crack and scrolled bolsters".

:D

Thanks for the pics of those great old stamps and etches on the razors Jack! Great stuff right there:thumbup:
The crown and sword stamp is pretty neat, but that serpent etch is over the top cool!

You're welcome Duane, I'll try and post pics of the rest tomorrow :)

Now accepting advance registration...don't be left out in the cold.

Here’s the pics of the other razors I picked up. First though, a detail from the Thomas Turner razor I forgot to post, presumably the name of the one-time owner.

I mentioned a shop label. It turns out these first 2 razors both have them. Horsforth is now a suburb of Leeds. Maybe the barber’s took in razors to be honed, or more likely, sent them somewhere else. All the razors are still shaving sharp.

Don't cut yourself now when you try to shave with one of these beauties!!

I'll be careful :) My girlfriend bought me a nice Dovo a couple of years ago - don't know what she was up to  :D
