Thomas was tired of hearing me whine about a broken knife. So as a Kershaw Big Wig (that’s an official title ya know) he told me that for my trouble he would send me the knife of my choice. :eek: WOW, I said yea. I’ll take you up on that offer. I asked for a Kershaw Lahar 1750. He said “Lahar it is, send me your addy.” He send it out 2nd day air. Not necessary but I guess when you work at KAI everyone tries to one up each other on customer service.

Anyway, the Lahar arrives today as promised and I’m very happy with it.
Heavy duty, well made, nice G-10, A POCKET CLIP FOR GROWN UPS. YEAAAAA (OK that’s not very grown up) but yippy!!!! :o

It has a flipper and thumb studs. This is very much needed for open & closing safely. The blade is a HUNK A HUNK of VG-10. Kershaw sharp.

So how about a few lines about the broken Kershaw??? What caused it to break??? What model was it??? Did you send it in for repair??? What part on it broke??? :confused:

Was the break a manufacturing defect??? Sounds like it was, if a Big Wig decided to offer a replacement...BTW, did Thomas want the broken knife for examination??? ;)
