My friend's dad jumped off a quad and killed a doe with his bare bands but he ended up breaking his collar bone during the struggle.

Thought about jumping out of my tree stand.

If any consolation here, I had a ladder tree stand slip from underneath me on a windy day. Some numbnut set the stand up on a small pine tree and I was chosen for that stand one morning. The wind picked up and tree began to sway. I felt the stand rotating around the tree. I slung my rifle on my shoulder and at that time the stand fell. I turned and hugged the tree and climbed, well kinda slid down. No sign of deer after all that ruckuss though.
