:):):):):)i am going totally off the wall but really didnt know where to post this at but i was just wondering what this knife comunity thinks of nutnfancy and cutlerly lover the to biggest knife reviewers on youtube exscuse my spelling:):):):):)

I think they talk too much.

Cutlerlylover is a little bit better than Nutnfancy I think. I've actually been able to watch some of Cutlerlylover's vids all the way through.

I like them both.

There is really nothing to complain about since it is done independently and is free to watch at your own will. I can see how people may disagree with the "tactical message" that Nutnafncy promotes, but other than that they both cover a lot of useful buyer information about knives -and that is the bottom line for me.

I really enjoy their reviews. I confess if I am thinking about spending some cash on a new knife I check their reviews. There is a young lady Allycat I think who makes some very enjoyable knife reviews.

My closest knife dealer is about an hour away. Their videos let me take a look at knives and gear that i won't get to see in person without going out of my way or buying them sight unseen. Cutlery lover is a little long winded but he gives good info. Nutnfancy just likes to talk but also gives good info. My opinions tend to parallel Cutlerylover more frequently than Nutnfancy though.

Hi mustangfootball -

I think both men do their best to give honest reviews of knifes to the benefit of all of "us".

I also believe that if someone thinks that they could do better reviews, they should.

best regards -

I like them both. I don't always agree with them on everyting, but they are great for getting overviews of gear.

They both talk too much.

Nutn tries to review more value based gear (knives, clothing, weapons, lights, etc.) It's a good thing because he is providing a service if you will, to some that would not otherwise know detaila about a product they are looking into. Aside from that he looks like he has a hell of a lot of fun running and gunning & camping in the boonies. More power to him.

CutleryLover is also a good source of information. He is a bit more dedicated on the knife front though. He is also more of a non-outdoorsy person (compared to Nutn with vids). Jeff really, really needs to get a better desk to do reviews and a better camera. That camera must be a USB flip camera of some kind. Sell a couple baldes and get a better camera.

they show the knives, gives specs, and nutn will sometimes show himself using it, so i'm cool with them, although i don't really watch the whole review since they tend to drag on a bit.

i liked nutnfancys vids better when they were only 10 min long!! now i just have to fast forward thru!! also im not too into the vids where he is running around in camo shooting assult weapons. all in all his reviews are informative if you are interested in buying the knife in question but cant handle it in person.

I think they are both essentially doing a good thing for the knife community. Yeah they're not perfect and I fastforward through some stuff but I'm not willing to spend the time and energy to do what they do so I won't knock em for it.

^^^^ this.

I think nutnfancy's reviews are good for giving you information, but his opinion on what is good and what isn't are not worth much.

I was so happy to see nutnfancy's shot show video. He really acted as a proxy for all of us who couldnt see the new products with our own eyes. He's got a lot of personality and he's opinionated, I often disagree with him but I appreciate the service he provides.
