I had opened a thread about this pattern when the first pics came out. It is, basically, a single bladed #56, with different blade options.
I wouldn't call it a swayback myself though, more a dogleg jack I suppose.
It's nice to have a single blade version on this frame.
Aesthetically, I don't really like the line that the wharncliffe blade makes with the handle in the open position. The spear blade looks better with this handle, although I'm not a fan of spear blades to be honest. Not sure if this pattern adds much to GEC's lineup, considering the previous versions (especially the one with pen secondary), which is quite unobtrusive when the main blade is open. A 440C version would be appreciated though

Stag and it would look better if the shield pointed the other direction with that wharncliffe blade the lines would flow better if they put the blade on the other end too that said I like it and will probably get one.

Hmm. Just checked the production schedule, and ebony versions are listed there, along with jigged bone and stag.
