Sal has commented that the edge of serrated H1 tests harder than any steel they've tested

Anecdotally, I was sharpening the serrations on my H1 Spyderhawk today and it was shaving ceramic off the Profile stone. Those serrations ARE hard!

Just got a new Salt 1 to replace the one I lost. Opted for PE this time. The serrations were great, but I just prefer slicing stuff with a plain edge. The example I got has no side to side play and just the tiniest bit of front to back movement, if you really tug on the blade. It won't effect the the usefulness of the knife, but that slight front to back movement does bug me about some of the lockback Spydercos. Great little knife though!
