It's a real 110, and mine just came with excellent fit and finish. No blade play at all and it's centered. The lock is definately super tight, hurts my thumb to disengage it, but that's fine with me.

I bought the same one a couple months ago, the lock up and handle quality is just as good as an early 90s model I've handled. The blade grind is terrible (as have most of the recent Buck's that I have owned/handled), but everything else is solid.
If the lock up is crap, send it in, and send it in until they make it right.

not even close, not remotely. this is based on what leroy remer tells me. Buck custom shop many years.
