Thousand Likes GAW

Not an entry. I just wanted to say Congrats what a great Gaw this is. Oh, and I threw another"like" your way. ;)

I’m in, and thanks for the shot! I don’t own even one of these, so a very cool knife to be giving away!
Thanks, Neal

I'll add my name, if only to increase the odds. Here's a pic of my favorite pattern:

Not an entry, since I already own a GEC 15 caplifter in Gabon Ebony, but thanks for the generous GAW!

I am in.
One of the things that I picked up from Bob, was that he was always thinking of others, and whether he was trying to or not, he made the community better by being a part of it.

In my feeble attempt to keep that spirit going, should my entry be picked, I would like this to be passed to @Heirphoto

Thank you and best of luck to all of the entrants.

I'm in, especially since I love this blade pattern.

Congrats on your 1k milestone!

I'm definitely in, I didn't know Bob but I read a lot of his comments here on the porch and his niceness and personality always came through. Thanks for the opportunity.

Nice giveaway, I'm in. I don't think I've ever had a beer scout and I am lacking any ebony handled knives. Thanks for the chance. EDIT: I have such a bad memory, I did have a Beer Scout in the past.

Here's a picture of its birthplace:

Count me in please. Do not have one of those and would like to have it to remind me of Bob . It was always nice to read his opinion on a subject .

Not an entry, but very generous GAW! Congrats on the likes! Bob sure had an impact on this site....

Thanks for the giveaway. I’d love to have that ebony covered cap lifter!!!!!

One of the memories I have of Bob, is trying to give him a TC Barlow. I noticed he was selling off his collection due to health reasons, and offered him one of my two TC Barlow’s. He indicated he could not purchase it, and did not have a knife of equal value to trade. I told him I would not accept any payment for it, and he could keep or do with it as he pleased.

He managed to send me a knife back that I plan on passing on to my own son Bob....... (my younger boy).

A nice old Case rope knife/whaler with a strong pull, and lovely wood covers.

I’ll try to post a pic, when I’m on a different device.

Here is the TC I sent him (I had made some great memories with that knife......here is is next to the branding Irons getting hot, and ready for the calves), Not sure which the Calves like less, the branding iron, or when they get the knife........ (only when the banded is too small for them....)

This is the case he sent me.

I'm i. I only know Bob from his postings, but I was lucky enough to purchase a knife in support of his grandson's education. I would love to have something else in hos memory. Thanks for the GAW.
