You don't need to click the like button, GT. I know you put a heap of thought and efforts into your posts. I certainly enjoy reading your perspectives on the daily carry thread. Unfortunately for me I don't have the time I'd like to have so like button it is for this guy!Congrats on the thousand likes, rswanson !!
(I have to confess that none of them are from me, but that's because I'm a 20th century geezer who has never used a "Like button" because they just seem too impersonal to me.

Thanks for the generous GAW!!It's hard for me to believe that I first "met" Bob just over 3 years ago. I won a GAW he sponsored just before he was hospitalized for the first time at the start of 2015, and I've carried the knife every day since it arrived. Not only is it a classic knife, but it has worked well for me as a "prayer reminder" of people I want to pray for. Here's a photo of the knife on vacation with me:

When Bob passed away, it was common for folks to say he "lost his battle with cancer", and of course I know what they mean, but I object pretty strongly to that phrase. The way Bob lived with the disease without letting it steal his dignity while thinking of others instead of himself was in my opinion a massive victory for Bob over cancer!
Anyway, best wishes to all the entrants, and thanks for the special GAW,
rswanson !
