This thread has been closed. Thanks everyone. Everything has been paid and shipped.
These are the blocks I received today from Australia. I had gotten a few packages in the past so I knew they have good wood, but I've never seen pieces like this before.
Most of the blocks are Ringed Gidgee, a Desert Acacia. Flashy figure like Koa but with the density of Desert Ironwood without nearly as many flaws. The Australian knifemakers I have talked to say that the ringed gidgee is the ultimate knife handle wood.

This is extra dense wood. There will be some small hairline checks that may require a little extra work (a little CA glue). There also may be some small open eyes in some pieces.
This is expensive wood. Not the sort of wood you would use on an inexpensive knife. My opinion would be to use it on a quality knife that would justify an ivory or mammoth tooth handle.
The Ringed Gidgee will look darker in real life. The flash from the camera gave a bit of glare to the photos.
Most of these blocks are cut big enough for almost any style knife. Some may be large enough to yield 2 handles for some knives.
US Shipping is $2.50 for 1 block or free if you get 2 or more. Canada Shipping is $10 for up to 4 blocks. The rest of the world is $12 for up to 4 blocks.
When you decide which ones you want, just post here "I'll take #s...." and I will mark them sold for you. If you need your blocks cut into scales, just let me know and I will cut them for free. It will be a few days before I can cut scales because these will require the use of a new blade.
