Aww man! A Hanshee! I just nailed my CAK yesterday. I'm gonna have to wait a little longer for a Hanshee.

The Bashpati and Chainpuri are awesome too. It's an excellent day for sharks but today I'm a catfish.

I'm a not so Great White one my tummy is full at the moment but then there is always my second stomach for desert :p tempting blades! Never seen a Hanshee. How are they?

Just thought of something? Ive never seen Keshar Lals' Kami mark? KLSMC...Keshar Lal Shiny Meat Chopper:D

deep sadness missed the hanshee, but I have too many knives already aaaaaagh

They have a much more pronounced bend to them. Kind of different. I love the look of them. I never swung one so no first hand experience. I'd say more weapon related than a chopper but I got nothing solid to back that statement up with.

I'll have one some day. I do know that, if there are enough days ya know?

Keshar Lal (or Kesar Lal) was using Bura's mark on the earliest KLVUKs, and then stopped marking them.

A while back Keshar Lal returned to work at HI. Master Kami Bura gave
him an idea about a special knife and gave Keshar his crescent moon
sign logo
. Now Keshar puts his crescent moon logo and his initial on all
the blades he makes...

Dont know if I got it yet but if ya want it I can have Aunti send it to ya! I know you have been wanting a horn Hanshee for a long time! Might save my skin too!

Wow! Thanks Steve. So KL has Buras old mark! I guess they never overlapped use of the crescent moon mark?

Nice, nice hanshee. Jens- to me they are pretty weaponized. The sweet spot on mine is farther back into the curve than a regular khukuri. They also lever sideways a little more if your grip isn't tight @time of impact. That being said, a:mine's not an HI, and b: they're still awesome.
Point of interest, though- if you have an FMA background blade handling-wise go sloooowly until you get used to the arc...
almost dropped my left ear on my dog when I first built mine...:D

Hi this is Gehazi, go ahead and send it to Washington. I'm ready to fry for a Hanshee.

Love
Gehazi

hohoho I support the above message, though I will soon post a shameful update of my own pile of steel, I think I have well over 120 lbs in knife now, i really want to do them the justice of a wall but I have failed so far in my efforts ( erstwhile and halfass though they have been)

FMA? Food, Money,Alcohol? Federal Meat Annuity, Free Money alcohol. Fine Metal Accessories.

Nope I can't figure it out. The dumb one needs help here JW. Be gentle, it's tough being stoopid.

I should weigh all the bandages, staples and stitches I've had from my knife acquisition beatings. I don't think I'm close to 120lbs though. 20 maybe.

yeah I am pretty sure I am slightly obsessive compulsive If I look at my method of collecting-- buy everything you see as fast as you can?
