Three blems for 1/16

Dang Gehazi you get around!
Hi this is Gehazi, go ahead and send it to Washington. I'm ready to fry for a Hanshee.

Love
Gehazi

JW: Yep I better empty the house, wife, dogs and furniture before I start playing with that much drop. Im glad my ceiling is 25' high. Might take out some light fixtures as well! No FMA here. Just a redneck with a piece of steel. I will be very careful and methodic. Thx!...Dont even know if I got it yet?

Thank you Bawanna and JWB.
I can see how FMA with this can keep my hair or ears nicely trimmed

Bawanna
FMA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filipino_martial_arts
So basically if you train with straight weapons (rattan sticks and long knifes) and swing them around your torso and head but suddenly you use a curved knife and tilt it a bit too much

Maybe I'll send a PM to Auntie and see which one of her nephews she likes best.

Sincerely
Gehazi

Oh yeah Filipino Martial Arts, I knew that I was just seeing if anyone else knew.

Apologies, Bawanna.:) Filipino Martial Arts. As the youngsters say, My bad. I actually own a number of surgical staplers (and a remover) so i get it...

lol jw, you are serious about playing with your knives if you are willing to handle the minor surgery

I figure if he can staple it himself it counts as minor, its major if someone has to do it for you? the horror stories are real though about people doing heinous and serious and permanent damage from mishandling blades. i trust jw to know whats up though with his surgical stapling :D, much more moxy than is available to me!

Nice offerings, I missed out on the Hanshee and Chainpuri, congrats on the new owners, and a hearty "THANK YOU", because you saved me from being "skinned alive" by the wife. Might've been worth it though...lol. Skin does grow back, you know?

You got it, skin grows back, blades live forever. "Skinned Alive" does sound painful though. Don't say that to my wife, I don't think she's thunk of that yet and hopefully she won't for a good long spell. So far my biggest fear is the top of a flight of stairs when she's near by. Frightening thing that.

buy it , and argue once, a wise man said that on these very forums ! I agree and follow this philosophy , because when you already have it in hand there is nothing else to say !( money is gone ! the knife is miiiine)

Gehazi- it's more for the knife making than training- I've never (knock on wood) cut myself training. I have had the buffing wheel try to throw sharp things through space I'm already occupying. So far I'm pretty lucky (and very careful). I'm not in a hurry to staple anything but they're there if they're needed. Not fun though.

My platoon sergeant once said that it's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.
Don't know if that's a healthy way to run a relationship but...

cool man, I just think its neat people do more than just stare at them, like me lol , and fair enough I imagine you can cut yourself very easy when getting a blade ready , good luck on your works JW and be sure to post whatever you are working on somewhere that we can follow it , I like knowing about those things even If I have no sweet forge-- well its pretty much true , and collectors all know the story , if you really want those objects that are hard to find then you are going to pay more , and you know that stuff doesnt come around often, so yeah cant agree more, much better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.(even though I have been a dumbass before and totally justified people telling me not to spend money :D)

That's hardcore. All I have is 3 big bandages with clotting agent. Baby stuff compared to you :D

Clotting agent is no fun if it's quikclot...the early stuff was catalytic, like an MRE heater-there were a couple of medics early on in Iraq who tore bags open with their teeth and were blinded when it reacted with the moisture in their eyes. Pretty sure they fixed that...CAT tourniquets are a great thing to have around.
I keep a small aid bag around anytime knifey stuff is going on, just in case.(which contains no staplers whatsoever LOL)
I suspect i would be fine with a couple big bandages and clotting agent myself :)

Whooohoo! Hanshee is mine officially. Now im scared to pick it up:eek: ha..Right! Ill keep my superglue and duct tape handy just in case. Superglue works good for skin flaps but you gotta remember which way to peel the duct tape off. I dont know about them staples JW? That dont sound fun but probably faster than agave spine and thread?

Ndog it'll be fiiinne. I just found the curve took more getting used to than I expected...:)
Reread my post about being cautious, I sound like my dad. Sorry!;)

Ndog, just think of it as a boomerang, thats what they remind me of, just wear a chainmail glove to catch after the throw:thumbup:
