Three by Steve R. Johnson....

Thanks, everyone for your kind words and for posting these photos. It's fun to see knives that one has not seen for many years. I appreciate your interest and kindness. Fun to see all those trademarks, also!

Hey Steve!

Well thank you for your very fine knives. It has been a great adventure collecting your work. I look forward to seeing what 2009 has in store for both maker and collectors. Hopefully '09 will be as good to the collection as '08!

I think it's a good time to start a "Let's see your S.R. Johnsons!" thread. I'll get it started some time today. Again, thanks Steve and I'll see you here in NYC for ECCKS next month!

I love those three stag knives. Here is my SRJ Trifecta:

Stick tang with stag, pipe briar wood and ivory.

Nice to see someone use an SRJ knife as a personal carry piece!

All the best,

Hello Steve,

Nice to see you visiting here!

But, when saying "...I appreciate your interest and kindness..." you
under-state our close to worship respect and admiration of your knife art
with its clean lines and beautiful curves, as someone here said it once....

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Steve

Thanks for looking at the stag set at Solvang 2006, hope to see you at AKI 2009.

Dr. Darom

David Fighter...is one of the most GREAT good looking knife. Looking forward for another great book 2010.

Matt,

Thanks for sharing...Hideouts, chutes and subhilts. They are all Incredibles SR Johnson's knives.

Dogman,

The stag stick tang is good looking... is one of a kind, awesome piece!.

Thanks everyone. I definitely put them together piece by piece. A lot of the Johnsons can be hard to come by, so I'm just glad I fell in with some folks who were turning their colletions when I happened to stumble by. I'll post a couple of additional pics later, but how's this to tide you over?

That is absolutely fabulous,

Thanks Stephan. That is my first Big Bear and has giraffe bone scales that are incredibly beautiful. I love that knife!

Come over to the new SRJ thread and I'll be posting a pic of another Big Bear that's about an inch larger with gorgeous mammoth ivory scales.
