Good work. Just a little cleaning, sharpening and choil work and it will be ready for action again. I like thrifty knives.

This is a nifty thrifty little thing I bought ridiculously cheap, an imperial Barlow. And in case I forget it is a Barlow pattern, it conveniently says “BARLOW” on both sides

AG Russell Rancher... a very solid knife for the money

I have the Cowboy in black, big and slim knife, but put together well and holds a decent edge. I don’t like how the rancher now comes with a pocket clip. The jigged bone looks nice though on that model.

I have both the Rancher and the Cowboy... before they put pocket clips on traditional knives.
They are excellent pocket knives, thin and packed full of blade, with Fit n Finish above their price point.

The other I have is the Barlow in yellow too. I love the spear point blade.

here is mine I found in the side of the road all rusted up while walking the dog, believe it is the same model. Have shown this before after prying it open after a oil bath. still a work in progress, but a good knife for free.

Can’t get too much thriftier, the bead cost more than the knife, but it’s a really well made RR mini Coke Bottle.
