Thumbdiscs,thumbstuds or thumbholes

Hole's first and foremost. I think they work well. Thumbstuds get in the way of sharpening and prevent me from using all of the blade for slicing through material. They also get in my way when I'm trying to strop at acute angles.

Thumbstuds only if I don't have a choice. (That said, I EDC a Sebenza, make of that what you will ;) )

Never owned a knife with a disk. They seem to work on the Emerson's that I've tried, but I think they get in the way like thumbstuds.

1. Thumbstuds - my first knives had thumbstuds and they seemed to grow on me alot. I like the way I can push the blades open fast and it seems like the most practical to me.

2. Holes - Great for opening a knife without to much force and if you dont want to flick it open to fast. Scares sheeple the least.

3. Thumbdisc - Never really had a knife with the disc but have held a couple and just felt awkward to me because im not used to them. Also they are the least aesthetically pleasing of the three.

My ideal knife with thumbstuds and a flipper.
