I just received a couple of firesteels from GoingGear.com based on their recommendation and I am couldn't be happier. Great steels delivered quickly with honest and helpful advice. I certainly plan on ordering from them again. :thumbup:

I just want to give this a bump...

This morning I sent a PM to BF Member storl, owner of Goinggear.com - he got back to me before by lunch. This is the second time he has given me great personalized customer service when I had questions about his product line.

I will placing my third order with Goinggear today. Great company. Plus the little freebies he has tossed in my previous two orders were great too.

I've ordered fire steels and a very nice Fenix TA30 from the on line store.

I was asked to go to Kennesaw, GA for business. About 25 miles from Smyrna, GA where his new brick and mortar store is. I got out of work early enough to make the drive to the store on Wednesday.

Its a great store with a HUGE selection of flashlights. There were no knives yet other than some blister pack Gerbers and the like. The Maxpedition, Nalgene, and other brand selection was great.

The Flashlights are all out on the countertop for handling and testing.

Storl is a class act. I didn't want to pester him to take any pics of the inside of the store. I swore I wouldn't be buying any more gear this year but ended up with a couple more fire steels and a couple other small, inexpensive items.

I didn't know he was in Smyrna. I'm only 45 mins out from there, I'll have to stop by for a look.

CRKT will be here in the next day or two and Benchmade will get here if I ever finish the order with them. Condor is coming in early May. I have a couple of knives on my Surefire order, which should be here in the next couple of weeks. I plan on picking up ESEE, KaBar (mostly for the Becker stuff), and maybe one or two others soon as well.
