I believe these are new production. If you look at the insignia at the base of the blade it is unlike any vintage Schatt and Morgan. It is a combination of S&M and CC. I'm sure that the CC is for Cooper Cutlery, the company making the new Schatt and Morgan knives. Also the same company making that Weed & co knife apparently.

That's a hefty price for unknown quality. Also what "stainless steel" are they using? There are also a couple of apparent NOS S&M knives that look interesting.
 
I thought the price was pretty high. Especially for what you can pick up some really nice, like new, vintage Schatt & Morgans for. I think most people thought these new production Schatt & Morgans might come in around the $150 price point. I'd probably take a chance at that price, but it ain't happening at $250.
 
That's a tough sell at $250. They really need to get some out and produce some positive reviews before dropping an unknown at that price point.
 
I thought the weed knife was odd, so I did a little googling. It looks to me like Weed and Co is was a vintage brand. Someone must have bought the rights to the name and they’re taking it in a different direction.

Apparently the lolly scramble for people that want a weed knife happens at a much slower pace. 😁
 
Lot of money for an unknown, and can't they show real photographs? Or don't the knives exist yet.....o_O

I looked at that and did not see a marijuana leaf at all. Just didn't occur to me. I like it better now that I know what it is 😁

I agree with most all of the comments above regarding pricing and being an unknown quantity. I'm glad to see S&M finally getting some product out, assuming these are in stock and available. Wish them the best.
