Time for a granddaughter

Heck Yeah! Thats a beautiful family! Im so happy for ya Joe! Grandma looks so proud and so does mom and pop! Did ya give dad that Bowie to cut the cord?
 
WooHoo! Congrats! Everyone looks so happy, maybe that's "gas" from the newbie, nah....that's a smile, because she's being held by grandpa!

Ooooh, a granddaughter is so special, so says my dad about my daughter. He dotes on her all the time, and the rapport and bond they have is so special. I know she loves me, but a grandfather and granddaughter's love is something very deep, different, the word I use is "bonding". Maybe it's the correct word to use, maybe not, but I think it fits.

Well wishes to your entire family, and may the newborn be blessed with all the love, that's in the room and beyond.

YAY! Congrats Grandpa Bawanna! Looks like the little one takes after Mom, not granddad. So all is good :D
Yep, spoiling that cute little bundle then passing it back when you get a whiff of something rotten in the diaper is the best part of being the favorite Grandpa (or in my case Aunt) Enjoy!!

Good on ya Brother, she's beautiful man, and you guys look so proud as you should be. I can see her melting you every day especially when she starts talking with that cute little girl voice, saying pappi come play dollies with me pleeeeeease. Congrats to your family and im glad momma did well. Hugs for everyone.

All true cept the stuffing my face. I plumb near starved sitting all day. I managed a few cups of coffee but very little grub.

But your right of course, daughter did all the work and again it will be a long time before she goes to the airport with her hubby. I tried to help during the long hours of waiting by sitting outside the room door and shouting you did this to me you bastard!!!! Not sure it helped much but I try to keep it fun ya know?

I got a text with selfie this morning a little Morning Gramps from Shaylin. Pretty cool, my first. Kids pickup on this technology stuff wicked quick I guess.
 
Well new granddaughter is doing fine, went to weigh in yesterday at 8# 1oz. Caught fish bigger than that but not near as cute.

Tonight a few minutes ago my youngest returned home from testing and physical for the Marines. I guess he signed on the line and ships out January 15th. Kind of blind sided me on this one, didn't see it coming and still trying to wrap my mind around it.

Guess they are all growed up and can do whatever they want........until they get married, then of course that all comes to a screeching halt.
He's talking recon as a stepping stone to special forces. Serious business. Sigh...........................
 
Good for him, I hope he does well, which im sure he will. He will have to earn a Semper Fi though, cant just give em out ya know. But I will give him an OOHHHRRAAA. As of now he is a Devil Pup, once he graduates he will get to be a Devil Dog.
