Time for a new wallet. What are ya totin?

Picked up four of the Saddleback Leather wallets last month, I knew I wanted one of em just wasn't entirely sure which one.

I'll post a quick write-up of the four I bought and the one I ultimately decided to use in a few.

I ended up with the same wallet that you settled on. The saddleback large bi-fold. Great wallet. Solid and really should last a lifetime. Also goes well with my large briefcase :)

Before I was using a spec-ops T.H.E. Wallet which incidentally is very similar in size. I changed it out after the front panel started ripping off. I'm going to send it back to spec-ops and see what happens.

This is the wallet I'm using:

I hate alligators! But they do make a darn nice wallet! :D

I got my Saddleback Leather large bifold. This is one big, thick wallet, maybe too big for me, long-term. But I do like it. It is bombproof, easy to access money and cards. Fits in a front pocket, surprisingly.

I like the flap inside the money compartment for stashing excess bills, instead of having a thick stack to flip through every time. I also like the inside pockets underneath the card slots. I fit a bus schedule in one.

I am impressed enough with the crafsmanship and materials, I will probably pick up a couple more items from them, maybe the small bifold.

My small Saddleback will be here on Monday according to UPS. I am looking forward to putting my Filson away for a while, as I feel like it is to big for my front pocket.

I am also looking for something to carry all my shopper cards and insurance cards, that I can keep in the car.

Switched from bi-fold (back pocket) to a leather front pocket wallet with magnetic money clip I picked up from Walmart for $7.00

Room for keycard, license, insurance card, couple of business cards, ATM card, credit card, and 7 or 8 $ bills.

Love it.

I had been carrying a wallet in my back pocket (largely full of needless crap) since junior high. A few years ago, somewhere on these forums I discovered the Beza money clamp system. I ordered one and when it came I narrowed all that needless stuff down to just a few cards, my license, some cash and my debit card receipts. I resolved to carry JUST the Beza money clamp system in my left front pocket. No wallet in my hip pocket. The first few days were the worst. That freaky feeling you get when you feel there's nothing there. After that initial shock, I never looked back. I don't miss carrying a wallet in the least. Very liberating. If you can't "let go" at least give the money clamp system a look. It would work in addition to carrying a wallet. However, I just let mine REPLACE the wallet. Great product. Tough as nails too. They make great gifts too.

I have some wallet from Wilson's leather that my Dad gave me, it replaced the car wash cheapie I carried for years.

I carried my wallet in my front pocket for forever the first day or two when I sit down I am like wait what's in my pocket? But I got used to it pretty fast.

Spec-Ops T.H.E. Jr is a great wallet.

I added a wallet chain to mine so I'm less likely to lose it.

Get a BLACK one. Olive and Tan will stain after a few years.

I've been carrying a nylon tri-fold since the mid 70's when they were first introduced. Since that time I've had two of them. When the first one started looking too ratty I switch to the Pac-Safe travel wallet http://www.pacsafe.com/www/index.php?_room=3&_action=detail&id=15 and have carried that for the past several years. I need a wallet that can carry several different sized currencies, and this one does it nicely.

The small wallet from Saddleback is awesome. I have my 3 debit cards, license, and some cash, all riding in my front left pocket. Which in my work pants or jeans does not show a footprint.

The workmanship is also top quality.

Mines made by Lambertson Truex. Great wallet, slim but holds a good amount of stuff.

Before that it was one by Porshe designs.
