Time for another Ritter Grip limited ed?

+1
and then BM's agreement with Doug on how things should go/look with the new Doug Ritter LE BM knife.
Now there's the two that need to come to an agreement.
So, until they do......we wait.

I think it would be worth letting Doug Ritter know if there is a relatively clear majority trend here in favor of a specific version. Ritter and Benchmade have been pretty responsive in the past. I would guess steel upgrades would be more appealing to him than handle upgrades, but I could be wrong and the only way to know is to ask. The standard Grip scales keep costs down, which I think Ritter views as a plus.

Well, truth is I would be perfectly happy with some Ritters in M390 steel with standard scales.

Cool, I will attempt to draw Doug's attention to this thread. I'm pretty sure he's a member here... :)

IIRC, he's Critter on BF.

I would be very happy with PE stonewashed M390 in full and mini sizes with the standard black Noryl GTX scales also. Thanks for sending a message to Doug.

Gentlemen,

Thanks for your input. As I have noted in prior threads on various forums and in emails, we no longer comment on our future product plans due to the difficulty in turning plans into reality in a timely fashion. Too many disappointments and very late delivery, which is frustrating to us and to you. So, it is just better to wait until we actually know any particular new product is shipping. I can assure you that we do have plans and I believe that when they bear fruit that they will be well worth the wait. Thanks for your patience.

I appreciate the response. Now I'm super excited!

I think I speak for many here when I say that your reply to this thread and the acknowledgement that there are plans in the works is very reassuring. Just like everyone else here, I can't wait to see what you have planned and I assure you that It can't come soon enough!
