Time for FrankenBecker #2!/Giveaway

I do not want this contest or project to die so I will be getting a new knife to replace the "lost" one. If anyone would like to contribute to the new one, drop me a line. The BK11 somehow made it so we still have that going. I refuse to let the USPS destroy this contest!

Clich, if you are ok with it, I would like to strip the new one, do my filework and send it on over to you so you can do your magic one more time.

Sure thing. and I will pony up cash when its available

Hey guys I don't want you to be spending money on this if you guys has prior commitments or plans. I will definitely be buying another 2 for this as soon as I can.

I think we should keep the point as it comes. What do you think?

Man, that's crazy. How does USPS get one there and not both?

If they won't insure / cover it, I'll chip in for a new blade.

Dunno. Same packaging, a padded envelope with the 2 in a cardboard sheath and taped edge. The 10 inch knife "fell out" but the little bk11 didn't. Sounds like someone really liked the bk2. I guess me and colton should be flattered that someone would risk their paycheck to swipe our work :D

The "rip" in the package was just wide enough to slip the bk2 out. I just moved so this is a new post office for me, I hope this does not become a trend

i'd also be more than happy to chip in for a replacement. it's well worth it for the the idea itself, the hardwork by everyone, and the good cause.

I dont think I would feel right accepting money from members who arent doing work on the knife. I already feel weird having them chip in for it. I do appreciate it VERY VERY much though. We will get something figured out.

When we get the new BK2, should it go to sleepy first for file work and then clich for etching? I think thats better because the filework will take some of the etching off. Also, I dont think I will modify the point on the new one unless you guys think it will be better to do so.

I liked the clip point, the handle shape was a little off so I'd say leave that stock. As far as the order makes no difference to me unless the scales are getting epoxied on. If they are removable I can go last

Yeah I dont know what the PO was thinking when he did that handle. I did the best I could to fix that.

The scales will be glued and pinned from what I understood from edctac.
